NGER Registration & NGER Reporting Thresholds
Registration obligations fall on corporations in 2009 who emit 87.5kt or more of CO2e or consume (or produce) 350Tj of energy.
Companies must register by 31 August, and report by 31 October, following the financial year in which they meet a threshold.
Corporations controlling facilities that emit 25kt or more of CO2e, or produce/consume 100Tj or more of energy are also obliged to register and report.
The registration and reporting thresholds are set to fall each year.
